Hannay blames T/C leader for Cyprus deadlock

Hannay, placed the blame squarely on Turkish Cypriot
Leader Rauf Denktash's shoulders for the Cyprus talks collapse in The Hague
this morning, according to Reuter's.
''I am sad about it but I do not think that Mr Denktash left him (Annan) any alternative,'' Hannay told Reuters.|
Cyprus has been divided since Turkish troops invaded in 1974, occupying its northern third.
