Cyprus Agriculture Minister to visit Athens, Brussels and Vienna
Nicosia, Nov 17 (CNA) -- Cyprus Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment Minister Efthimios Efthimiou leaves today for Athens where he will hold talks with Greek Environment, Town Planning and Public Works Deputy Minister Stavros Kaloyiannis, on issues regarding cooperation in the field of the environment between Cyprus and Greece.
According to an official press release, Efthimiou will fly tomorrow to Brussels where he will represent Cyprus in the EU Agriculture and Fisheries Council, November 22-23.
He will then travel to Vienna where he will participate at a meeting of four EU countries' Agriculture and Environment Ministers (Austria, Britain, Malta and Cyprus).
The Ministers will discuss the issue of forming a common policy on agricultural development issues and the environment.
The bilateral relations of the four countries will also be discussed.
Efthimiou returns to Cyprus November 25.
