Cypriot bakery claims place in Guinness Book of Records
Pafos, Apr 10 (CNA) -- A local bakery is claiming a mention in the Guinness Book of Records for what it says is the biggest banana-cake in the world.
Twelve persons have worked for five hours to make the cake, which used up 300 kilos of flour and an equal quantity of bananas. The cake is said to measure 100 metres.
The cake was made by Stamatis bakery during a local festival, the First Banana Festival, organized by the village of Pegia, in the Pafos district, on the west of the island.
