Ankara, Apr 13 (CNA) -- Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs Petros Molyviatis has described his visit and meetings in Turkey ''very good and satisfactory'' and said Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has extended an invitation to his Greek counterpart Costas Karamanlis to visit Turkey.
''The visit will take place very soon,'' Molyviatis added.
Speaking to the press after a meeting with Erdogan, he said Athens and Ankara reiterated during the talks their desire to continue the effort to improve bilateral relations.
Molyviatis said he had the chance to talk to the Turkish leadership about various issues, including cooperation in tourism, transport, energy and trade.
He stressed that during the talks both sides had the opportunity to apply existing possibilities to avoid seeing certain incidents in the Aegean lead to a crisis, pointing out that this is an ''important achievement'' for bilateral cooperation.
Molyviatis is on his way to Constantinople (Istanbul) for a meeting with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
