Second Cyprus Wine Competition attracts 35 wineries
The Second Cyprus Wine Competition took place in Limassol last week and the judging panel took to taste their way through all 123 bottles vying for the gold, silver and bronze medals in the various categories.
A total number of 35 wineries took part, compared to 28 in the previous competition last year.
A representative of the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV), Leonardo Montemiglio, was present as an observer.
Mr. Montemiglio will prepare a report about the Cyprus Wine Competition with a view to placing it under OIV auspices.
