The Foreign Ministry and the Press and Information Office (PIO), in the presence of Cypriot Foreign Minister Erato Kozakou-Markoulli and Director of the PIO Yiannakis Solomou, presented “Cyprus on Film.”

Visitors to http://www.cyprusonfilm.com have free access to documentaries about Cyprus in Greek, English and French that capture the island’s land, history, culture, and the political situation, as well as its people, customs, and traditions.

The site will be periodically enriched with new films, covering various aspects of life on the island in German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish, also serves as an internet portal for all government sites of Cyprus and other useful links.

On the same note, the Municipality of Ayia Napa is reaching out to Internet users to promote its holiday resorts and beautiful beaches through its own website. Ayia Napa’s Mayor Antonis Tsokos said that a website has been developed which hosts video clips providing information on the environment, history, lifestyle, sport, excursions, fashion, music and other fields. Furthermore, the visitor can explore what the tourist industry in Ayia Napa offers, find accommodation and seek information about recreation and services.

These were presented to the media and tourist agencies and have been posted on www.ayianapatv.tv.
