Cyprus participates in the 57th International Fancy Food Show in Washington DC, displaying Unique Cheeses, Food Products and Wines

A selection of Cyprus Food Products and Wines will be presented and showcased this year at the 57th Fancy Food & Confection Show by Cypriot Exhibitors.
The Cyprus Embassy Trade Center on behalf of the Cyprus Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, will be participating with of 19 Cyprus Exhibitors in North America’s largest specialty food and beverage event. 180,000 products will be showcased at this year’s Fancy Food show, including but not limited to confections, cheese, coffee, snacks, spices, ethnic, natural and organic food products from 2,500 exhibitors, representing 81 countries along with an expected 24,000 attendees.
The Cyprus Pavilion will consist of 7 exhibitors and a booth for the Cyprus Embassy Trade Center which will provide a unique opportunity to sample the finest traditionally prepared Cypriot specialty food products and boutique wines produced from indigenous grape varietals. In the attached list of Cyprus Exhibitors participating at the show this year you will have the chance to view the new products being introduced in the U.S. market.
This year we will be exhibiting types of Cypriot cheese such as Halloumi, as well as Cypriot wines which provide truly new and exciting alternatives to widely known varietals. Commandaria, the oldest wine with appellation of origin in the world still in production, made in Cyprus by the same method since at least 1,000 B.C.
The International Fancy Food Show 2011 will be taking place on July 10-11, 2011 from 10 am – 5 pm and July 12 from 10 am – 4 pm.
